Handcrafted Leather Goods

Made to Be Used. Made to Last.

Bison & Blade creates practical leather goods with a simple philosophy:

use good material, build it well, and make something worth keeping.

Every piece is made in small quantities or as a select commission, with an emphasis on function, durability, and timeless design rather than trend-driven fashion.

Old-fashioned in soul. Modern in execution.

Small-Batch Workshop Goods

Bison & Blade regularly produces practical leather pieces such as:

  • Eyeglass cases

  • Field Notes and notebook covers

  • Valet trays

  • Desk and mouse pads

  • EDC organizers

  • Utility cases

  • Simple sheaths

  • Belts

  • Other small everyday-carry and desk goods

Availability varies because these pieces are made in small batches rather than mass-produced.

Select Custom Work

I do accept custom leather projects, but selectively.

A project is usually a good fit when it is:

  • Practical

  • Built around a clear purpose

  • Appropriate for the materials and tools in the workshop

  • Something I believe I can execute to a standard I’m proud to put the Bison & Blade name on

If you have an idea, send me a few photos, measurements, or examples and tell me how you want the piece to be used.

If I’m the right craftsman for the job, I’ll tell you.

If I’m not, I’ll tell you that too.

Personalization

Depending on the project, personalization may include:

  • Initials

  • Names

  • Dates

  • Logos

  • Simple engraving

  • Custom sizing

  • Leather and thread selection

Personalization options are confirmed before work begins.

Corporate & Group Orders

Bison & Blade can also produce select small-batch leather goods for:

  • Employee gifts

  • Client gifts

  • Events

  • Milestones

  • Small business branding

  • Team or organization orders

Examples may include coasters, trays, notebook covers, key fobs, and other practical goods.

Larger orders are quoted based on quantity, materials, personalization, and timeline.

Materials & Character

Leather is a natural material.

Color variation, grain, marks, pull-up, and patina are part of what make each piece unique.

I do not try to make handmade leather look like plastic or factory-perfect material.

The goal is clean workmanship, durable construction, and a finished piece that gains character through use.

Pricing

Because materials, size, hardware, personalization, and construction vary, most handcrafted goods are priced by the piece.

Repeatable Bison & Blade products will have fixed pricing when available.

Custom work receives a quote before production begins.

Larger or more involved commissions may require a deposit.

Have Something in Mind?

Send me: a photo, sketch, reference image, or short description of what you need and how you plan to use it.

I’ll let you know whether it fits the workshop and what the next step would be.
